NikahDM Safe Introductions
A good introduction starts safely.
Get to know people while protecting yourself and your information. If you notice suspicious behaviour, report it, and make decisions at your own pace.
You are in control
You decide who you talk to and what you share. Blocking, reporting and privacy settings support those decisions.

Warning signs to watch for
A single sign doesn’t always mean bad intent, but be cautious if there is pressure, inconsistency or a request for money.
-
Requests for money and urgency
If someone you’ve just met asks for money for travel, health, a gift or any other reason, stop. However close you feel, don’t send money.
-
Payment and account details
Never share card numbers, CVV, online banking logins, ID photos or verification codes. Those codes are for you alone.
-
Identity and profile inconsistencies
Be careful if photos, age or the story don’t add up. Email verification is not identity verification; profile details are what the member says about themselves.
-
External links and platforms
Pressure to move the conversation to another app right away, or to click a link, can be a warning sign. Think before opening links.
-
Investment and crypto promises
If you’re offered guaranteed profits, investment advice or asked to transfer cryptocurrency, stop the conversation and report the member.
-
Protect your personal information
Don’t share your home address, workplace, documents or passwords early on. Meet for the first time in a busy public place and tell someone close to you.
If something feels wrong
Act in three steps.
So that your report is linked to the right account, report from the member’s profile or the chat screen whenever possible.
Stop the conversation
Don’t do what you’re asked; don’t send money, documents or one-time codes.
Report from the profile
Tap Report on the profile or in the chat menu, choose a reason and add a short note if you like. The person you report is not told.
Block if needed
Use Block on the profile or in the chat menu to cut off contact. In an emergency, contact your local authorities.
Your privacy choices
You manage your visibility.
In Settings, under Privacy and Visibility, you can choose whether your online status is shown and manage the members you’ve blocked and your cookie preferences. Your profile and photos are shown only to logged-in members.

Short answers about safety
How do I report a suspicious member?
On the member’s profile or in the chat screen menu, tap “Report” and choose a reason (for example asking for money, scam or fake profile). If needed, block the member from the same place.
What happens after I report?
Your report is recorded and may be reviewed by the team. The person you report is not told. No review time is promised, and you currently don’t receive a notification about the outcome.
What should I do if someone asks for money or a verification code?
Don’t do it. Stop the conversation without sending money or codes, report the member with the “Asking for money” or “Scam / fraud” reason, and block them if needed.
Are my messages end-to-end encrypted?
No. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted, so don’t share sensitive information such as passwords, card details or ID documents in messages.
In immediate danger? Contact your local emergency services and police directly. NikahDM does not provide an emergency response service.
