A good introduction starts with mutual respect.
We want NikahDM to be a place where everyone can express themselves comfortably, boundaries are respected and safety matters. These rules apply to all members.

Our community's four core principles
The examples under each heading are a guide. If a behaviour isn't listed, that doesn't make it acceptable when it harms others.
01 · How do we treat each other?
Respect and communication

Treat people with respect
Don't use demeaning language about someone's faith, origin, gender, age or personal preferences. Keep the conversation respectful even when you disagree.

Respect a no
The other person may not want to reply, keep talking or share photos. Insisting, pressuring, following and sending repeated unwanted messages are not acceptable.

No harassment or threats
Insults, sexual harassment, threats, blackmail, humiliation or intimidation have no place in our community. If you feel uncomfortable, end the conversation and report it.

Let the conversation move at its own pace
Don't pressure anyone for a phone number, social media account, meeting or private images. Clear, mutual consent is the basis of healthy communication.
02 · Present yourself honestly
Real and honest profiles

Use accurate information
Don't knowingly misrepresent your age, identity or profile details. Don't impersonate anyone or use someone else's photos without permission.

18 and over only
NikahDM is for adults. Giving false information to get around the age limit or using an account on behalf of a minor is prohibited. Report suspicious cases.

Use your own photos
Use photos that represent you accurately and that you have the right to share. Don't upload misleading or explicit images or ones that violate someone else's privacy. Photos taken with a niqab or headscarf are not a violation.

Be clear about your intentions
Don't misrepresent why you're here. Being honest about looking for a relationship, friendship or marriage helps the other person make an informed decision.
03 · Let's keep each other safe
Safety and personal boundaries

Don't ask for money or investments
Don't ask members for money, gift cards, crypto transfers or investments. Pressuring for payment with an emergency story, promising fake profits and attempting fraud are prohibited.

Don't ask for sensitive information
Don't request ID documents, passwords, one-time verification codes, bank logins or card details. Never share this information with anyone.

Be careful with links and other platforms
Suspicious links, fake login pages, harmful files and pressure to move to another platform are not accepted. Phone numbers, email addresses and social media accounts can't be shared on profiles.

Respect privacy
Don't publish private conversations, photos or a member's personal information without their permission. Don't collect other people's information to use for other purposes.
04 · A better space for everyone
Use the platform properly

No spam or fake engagement
Bulk or repeated unwanted messages, automated accounts, fake likes and redirects, advertising and unauthorised commercial content are prohibited.

Don't share inappropriate content
Don't share illegal, sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful or violence-glorifying content. Don't send images or messages that could harm others.

Don't misuse reporting
Don't file false or deliberately misleading reports to punish a member. When you see a violation, report it under the right category with accurate information.

Don't try to get around restrictions
Don't try to bypass a block or account restriction with new accounts, another identity or technical means.
Noticed a problem?
Don't ignore it — let us know.
Use the Report option on the member's profile or in the chat to report it under the right category. You can block anyone you don't want to hear from. In an emergency, contact your local authorities.
What happens when a rule is broken?
Reports may be reviewed by the team; no review time is guaranteed. Depending on the case, measures such as removing photos or temporarily or permanently restricting an account may be taken. A report doesn't automatically lead to a ban; the outcome depends on the nature of the violation.
